Description
English: Giovanni Folo's calcographia engraving reproduces Titian's painting “Danaë,” 1545-1546 (Museo di Capodimonte, inv. no. Q 134). Folo was known for engraving after Titian and completed this plate in 1832, having had access to the oil painting in Naples since 1815.
