Object history
Deutsch: Im Jahre 1923 legte die Gemeinde das „redende" Wappen fest. Der Wellenschrägbalken bezieht sich auf das Flüsschen Lein, an dem die Siedlung bei der Einmündung des Götzenbachs entstanden ist. Ihre Urzelle war eine vermutlich von Ellwangen ausgegangene kleine klösterliche Niederlassung. An sie soll die eintürmige silberne Kirche im Gemeindewappen erinnern. Das Landratsamt Ostalbkreis hat die aus dem Wappen abgeleitete Flagge am 29. Dezember 1980 verliehen.
