Summary

Description
English: MOC narrow-angle image E17-00856 showing craters, trenches and thin mesa surfaces in the Deuteronilus Mensae region of the Martian surface. Coordinates are 333.37°W and 44.47°N. The mesas are formed when sublimation of ice causes collapses cracking the surface and behind leaving pits and trenches. This image is tiled for easier viewing on a monitor.
