Description
English: Preferential groundwater flow along the Hayward Fault emerges to support the swath of hydrophilic vegetation in the center of this image. This spring on Taylor Mountain Regional Park is the source of Cooper Creek which flows along the Hayward Fault on the southern edge of Santa Rosa, California, to a confluence with Matanzas Creek at Doyle Community Park.
