Coinagehall Street Helston : The Hal an Tow celebration arriving. Hal an Tow takes place early in the morning on Flora Day. It is a medieval play depicting the arrival of St Piran bringing Christianity to Cornwall, the slaying of the dragon by St George and the slaying of the devil by Helston's saint, St Michael. 'Hellys bys vykken' seen on the banner is Cornish for 'Helston for ever'.
