Description

Ball-and-stick model of the ciprofloxacin zwitterion, C17H18FN3O3, as found in the crystalline methanol hemisolvate.

Since the carboxyl group and amine group are ionic in this zwitterion, the position of hydrogen atoms differ from the neutral ciprofloxacin form.
