Description Central Bandstand, Herne Bay, Kent, England, designed by H. Kempton Dyson in 1924 and built of ferro-concrete (reinforced concrete). The City of London Band is playing; their name is written above the stage. Photograph dates from 1924 because the deckchair area has not yet been formally extended across the lawn in front.
