Summary

Description
English: the dialogue to set the current date, if not obtained from the GPS signal, shows that the SkyScout was not intended to be used after December 31, 2015 (or before January 1, 2005; the SkyScout was announced at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show). This, coupled with the GPS week number rollover in the following year, rendered the instrument useless after those dates.
