Ornate border with gold floral design on blue, gold and orange margin and outer large border of multicoloured floral sprays on peach background. Verso: Four multicoloured birds perch on branches of a flower with large, heavily shaded lilac flowers. Orange floral sprays at bottom. Orange and white floral border, blue and gold floral border, gold, orange and green margins.

Recto: Historical battlescenes were commissioned by Mughal emperors to record important events, battles and conquests. This maybe a recording of the capture of two prisoners at an important battle by Allahvardi Khan Jahangiri. It appears to be a later copy of a 17th century Mughal painting
