Sala de comissões do Senado durante audiência pública Comissão de Agricultura e Reforma Agrária (CRA), que se reúne para debater denúncias de fraude no Programa Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Agricultura Familiar (Pronaf).

A audiência pública tem o objetivo de discutir desvios que ultrapassam R$ 80 milhões somente no Rio Grande do Sul, segundo investigações da Polícia Federal e do Ministério Público Federal. O esquema teria prejudicado 6,3 mil pequenos produtores rurais, por meio de transferências bancárias intermediadas pela Associação Santa-Cruzense dos Agricultores Camponeses (Aspac), suspeita de obter os empréstimos e não repassar aos agricultores.

Em pronunciamento, secretário executivo do Ministério do Desenvolvimento Agrário (MDA), Laudemir André Müller.
