English: Blaenavon Workmen's Hall and War Memorial
The War Memorial is located next to the Hall, on the corner of Church Road and High Street. The memorial's foundation stone was laid in 1931.
Blaenavon Workmen’s Hall is owned by the local council, and operated by an independent management committee made up of volunteers from the local community. The former Miners' Institute has a 400 seat auditorium, cinema, snooker room, bar, meeting room and conference facilities. The building was financed by weekly deductions from miners' pay.
