AT THE WHITE HOUSE LAST NIGHT PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT RECEIVED A MILLION-DOLLAR CHECK FROM THE COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF HIS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY LAST JANUARY. REAR ADMIRAL CARY T. GRAYSON, CHAIRMAN OF THE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION IS SHOWN MAKING THE PRESENTATION TO THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE AFTER WHICH THE CHECK WAS IMMEDIATELY TURNED OVER TO THE WARM SPRINGS FOUNDATION FOR SUFFERERS OF INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
