English: Frutighaus (Ausserschwandstrasse 27, Adelboden): typical farm house of the Frutigen region.
  • This house is built in the 18th century, but the house type is still built today.
  • The writings on the wall are also typical for the region.
    • Built by Peter Rieder and Susanna Pieren in the year of the Lord 1771 - Owners (husband and wife) and year of erection
    • I, Peter Rieder, built this my house myself, - Name of the actual workman who built the house - in this case the same as owner.
    • Lord, we want to listen to you and trust you, strengthen in us your confidence
    • Give us your grace and blessing and do avert your punishment - Verse of a Hymn (alternatively Bible verse)
