DescriptionBRICK CHURCH STATION, EAST ORANGE, ESSEX COUNTY.jpg
English: THE BRICK CHURCH ITSELF, ORIGINALLY THE SECOND PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF ORANGE, CAN BE SEEN NORTH OF THE STATION. THE CHURCH BUILDING DATES FROM 1878, AND BRICK CHURCH STATION WAS PROBABLY ESTABLISHED NOT LONG AFTER JUDGING BY THE ARCHITECTURAL STYLE OF THE ORIGINAL STATION BUILDING. THE PRESENT STATION BUILDING WAS OPENED IN 1922 WHEN THE TRACK GRADE WAS RAISED ABOVE STREET LEVEL
REF. # 84002636; THERE IS CURRENTLY A PICTURE IN THE LISTING AND ADDITIONAL PICTURES ALSO BUT NONE OF THESE SHOW THE STATION ITSELF WHICH IS VERY ATTRACTIVE. ALSO IT IS EXCEEDINGLY DIFFICULT TO GET A PICTURE OF THE STATION ITSELF BECAUSE IT IS PARTIALLY ENCLOSED ON ONE SIDE BY MALL BUILDINGS AND ON THE OTHER BY A FREEWAY AND ALSO INTERSTATE 280 WHICH BLOCK GOOD PICTURES
