Description
English: Facsimile of a vignette from the Book of the Dead of Ani. Ani's mummy is carried in the funeral procession. At the far right are the oxen pulling the bier on its sledge and the men guiding the procession, followed by a funerary priest. Next to the bier is Ani's grieving wife Tutu; on each side are small figures of Isis and Nephthys. Behind the bier are male mourners. At the far left, men pull the box containing the canopic jars while others carry goods to be placed in the tomb.
