Das Staffelemblem der 440 AW (F) Squadron "Bats" (Rote Fledermaus auf weisser Wolke) - ist gut auf dem Rumpfbug der CF-100 zu erkennen.
Bereits zwei Jahre zuvor, am 10.05.1959, war in Giebelstadt eine CF-100 Mk.4B der 445 AW (F) Squadron "Wolverine" aus RCAF AB Marville, Frankreich, zu Besuch während des von der USAFE veranstalteten Flugtages/Tag der Streitkräfte.
