English: Athletics track, Wavertree Playground. Locally called "The Mystery" because it was donated to the city in May 1895 as a children's playground by an anonymous citizen, Wavertree playground is a large recreation ground with many sports facilities including tennis courts, all weather pitch, bowling green and athletic track with grandstand.
