The Arrowood Trading Post across the road from the Blue Whale of Catoosa.
This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: This image is intended to show what the building and its plot of land looked like before the billboard was erected. The image is reasonably accurate, and does not depict anything not normally found at the site. As much of the original, unedited imagery as possible was used to create this image.
Three photos were taken using a Canon Powershot A70 camera, from slightly different positions in the Blue Whale parking lot across the road.
The photos were resized and rotated, and contrast/brightness adjusted, to match them all up with one another as closely as possible.
A large billboard was edited out (main reason for these changes) because it obscured part of the building and trees.
In the "Arrowood Trading Post" signage, the portion of the trees above the letters "--OOD TRA--" is simulated (rotated and smudged copies of other parts of the tree line).
A passing foreground vehicle was edited out.
A couple of traffic signs were edited out.
Portions of the sky around the joined edges were smudged to blend the photos together smoothly.
Photos originally taken by Abraham Ezekowitz, processed by Vanessa Ezekowitz using The GIMP running under Ubuntu Linux.
