English: Light blue state bedroom of the Duchess of Courland, former chambre d'Argent. Silver-painted furniture made by Baltic craftsmen[1], formerly belonging to Yevdokiya Yusupova (1743-1780), second wife of Peter von Biron, duke of Courland (married 1774, separated in 1776, divorced 1778, left Mitau for Saint Petersburg where she died). She was the early deceased eldest sister of prince Nikolay Yusupov[2].
