Description Bühnenbild zur Oper "Palmyra" (Antonio Salieri), Prinzessin von Persien: Großer Platz, kolorierte (aquarellierte) Aquatintaradierung nach einem Entwurf von Giorgio Fuentes (Mailand 1756-1821), 51,3 x 73,4 cm. Für das vierte Bild der Oper (Akt 1, Szenen 10-11) schreibt der Librettist vor: "Magnifico Terreno di figura ovale con grand’Arco di trionfo nel fondo, che lascia libera la veduta d’una vasta piazza all’intorno ripiena di Popolo. Nella sommità del Salone Galleria ricolma di spettatori, dalla quale pendono dei coloriti tappeti. La volta del Salone è dipinta d’azzurro seminato di stelle d’oro rappresentanti le costellazioni e i pianeti. Alla destra trono." Siehe Libretto zur Uraufführung.
