Summary
| Description |
English: International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women 2019 march in Mexico City in front of Palacio Bellas Artes. The purple "Ni una mas!" is a permanent monument- also called the Anti-monument- to murdered women in Mexico and femicide in the heart of the city. The wall of sheet metal was put up in advance of the demonstration to protect the building and other monuments in the area, and almost torn down in places by the crowd bent upon spray painting and breaking anything they could. |
