The filming of 'Treasure Hunt', 1984
These photos show part of the filming of an episode of the TV programme 'Treasure Hunt' at Hatton Locks on 23rd August 1984. The narrowboat featured was the 'General Gordon', built by Brummagem Boats and owned by Malcolm Betts who can be seen standing on the left in photos 2 and 3. The episode also included other locations in Warwickshire including Warwick Castle, Charlecote Park, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Mary Arden's House. The programme can be viewed on YouTube.'
