Free side labels on copies of the phonograph record, inserted into the picture sleeve as also part of the product, would help identify any of the single releases. Some releases used generic sleeves instead of picture sleeves, such as the UK release. However, the labels may not be good substitutes for the picture sleeves, which were the main selling point of the commercial market, including the United States. |
