English: This is the Russian pharmacist, perfume and cosmetics maker Alexander Mitrofanovich Ostroumov. He founded 1900 in Moskow the "Institute of Medical Cosmetics" and was its ownwer until his death. He is the grandfather of my mother, and this is a fotocopy of a photo from our Rascanu / Ostroumov family's archive. The copyright belongs to the original author of this Wikipedia contribution, Dan Rascanu.
Deutsch: Das ist der russische Apotheker, Parfüm- und Kosmetikhersteller Alexander Mitrofanovich Ostroumov. Er gründete 1900 in Moskau das „Institut für Medizinische Kosmetik“ und war dessen Inhaber bis zu seinem Tod. Er ist der Großvater meiner Mutter, und dies ist eine Fotokopie eines Fotos aus dem Archiv unserer Familie Rascanu / Ostroumov.
