Alejandro Claudio Giannotti is Chief Executive Officer and President of Bovay Engineers, Inc., one of the most well known engineering firms in Houston, Texas. Giannotti was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina on May 22, 1957. He received a B.S. in Construction Engineering from the University of La Plata, Argentina and a Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston. Prior to joining Bovay in 1996, Giannotti held senior management positions at S&B Engineers and Constructors.
Giannotti is also very active in many Houston associations. He served as a Board Member of the World Trade Division of the Greater Houston Partnership and has served as President of the Texas Argentine Chamber of Commerce since 1992. The Mayor of Houston, Bill White, has recently appointed him to serve on the Mayor’s International Affairs and Development Council (MIADC) where he was elected to act as Chairman. He was then elected Executive Chairman of seven (7) regions of MIADC.
He lives in Houston, Texas with his wife, Vivian, and their three children, Paul, Geraldine and Lawrence.
