Air Equator had been operation for just two weeks at the time of this photo of their rare Fairchild, offering services from Malé to Gan, Hanimaadhoo and Kadedhoo, but discontinued flying in May 2005. The F-27 originated with Phillips Petroleum in 1965 as N966P and was sold as 6.74 to Quebec Cartier Mining, in whose basic colours the aircraft remains, and later as N19HE
