Description
English: Aerial view of 'The Hill', the Nathan family's residence in Hill Road, Manurewa, showing fields, buildings, tennis court, tower, and areas of bush in a rural landscape. This was built by David Nathan in 1925 after fire had destroyed an earlier residence on the site. It became known as the Nathan Homestead after its acquisition by the Manurewa Borough in 1962.

Author Mill, Frank Douglas, 1899-1990 - These photographs are attributed to F Douglas Mill. However, it is known that on occasion his wife Audrey would operate the camera (by leaning out of the open cockpit) while Mill himself piloted the plane.
