English: Abberton Visitor Centre. This is the visitor centre at Abberton Reservoir Nature Reserve. The Essex Wildlife Trust lease the land from the Essex & Suffolk Water Company. For more information see http://www.essexwt.org.uk/visitor_centres__nature_reserves/abberton_reservoir/ There are currently plans to raise the 55356 and increase the area of the area of the reservoir from just over 4 square km to 6.7 square km. This will mean the whole reserve will be flooded and a new one will need to be established. |
