Description
English: AKA QUARTERS A BUILDING ON THE FORMER DAVISVILLE NAVAL CONSTRUCTION BATTALION CENTER. BUILT IN 1801 BY JOHN ALLEN TO REPLACE A HOME BURNT BY THE BRITISH IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR. IT WAS OWNED BY THE MADISON FAMILY FROM 1825 TO 1909.

REF. # 800000015 IT SHOULD BE NOTED THIS HOME IS NOW VACANT AND STANDS ISOLATED IN THE AREA. IT IS NOT ON MARINE DRIVE BUT ACTUALLY OFF OF SANFORD ROAD WHICH RUNS BETWEEN DAVISVILLE ROAD AND MARINE DRIVE.
