| Description | A Vought A-7E Corsair II aircraft of attack squadron VA-25 Fist of the Fleet landing on the aircraft carrier USS Ranger (CV-61). VA-25 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW-2) on the Ranger from 1970 until 1982 when the squadron transitioned to the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18A Hornet and was reassigned to CVW-14. The colourful markings were typical of the 1970s. |
