Description66077 Dollands Moor to Wembley (then 4G31 to Bescot Down Side) (14019277602).jpg | DB Schenker's class 66 (JT42CWR) number 66077 in English, Welsh and Scottish Railway maroon with zigzag gold band working from Dollands Moor sidings to Wembley on 26 April 2014. It was also photographed by George Odlum later on route at Kensington Olympia (<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/juniper007/14021453031/">www.flickr.com/photos/juniper007/14021453031/</a>). 66077 is named "Benjamin Gimbert GC" the GC standing for George Cross awarded to the LNER engine driver who was very severely injured on 2 June 1944 after separating a burning ammunition wagon from an ammunition train of 51 wagons and moving it away from people and property before it exploded killing James Nightall the fireman. IKA 'Megafret' 'low floor' intermodal twin wagons loaded with Unit45.com containers and Container Leasing 45 containers included 33 68 4909 967-4, 33 68 4909 473-3, 37 80 4909 002-? (0 or 3), 33 68 4909 962-5, 37 80 4909 168-9, 33 68 4909 354-5, 33 68 4909 373-5, 33 68 4909 482-4, 33 68 4909 382-6, 33 68 4909 380-0, 33 68 4909 428-7, 33 68 4909 387-5, 37 80 4909 055-8 and 33 68 4909 442-8 (see <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/99279135@N05/14022776311/">www.flickr.com/photos/99279135@N05/14022776311/</a>). 66077 was built by General Motors EMD, London, Ontario, Canada in 1999 and unloaded from the Heavy Lift Ship MV "Stellamare" at Newport Docks on 28 February 1999. After reaching Wembley the train continued to Bescot Down Side as 4G31 photographed by Matthew B approaching Castlethorpe (<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/thehstmatt1/14020269342/">www.flickr.com/photos/thehstmatt1/14020269342/</a>). |
