English: The building located at 460 K Street NW in the Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. was built for John J. Bowles as a store and to house dairy plant workers. The plant once one stood behind the building in Prather's Alley. Designed by Julius Germuiller, the Romanesque Revival building was constructed in 1904. It is a designated contributing property to the Mount Vernon Triangle Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
