English: Three paintings by Elizabeth Watrous, wife of artist Harry Watrous, c. 1915-1921. In the center is "In the War Zone" from 1915, which was noted in the New York Times and in the International Herald Tribune when it was banned from an exhibition at the New Rochelle public library as not suitable to be seen by children.
