Summary

Description

The fifth generation began with the 2005 model year, and received a facelift in 2010 and again in 2013. The styling was influenced by the 1st generation Mustangs, headlights set back from the grille like the 67, 68 and the fastback roofline like the 65, 66. Jack Roush Performance Engineering provides aftermarket performance racing parts and engines for the Ford Mustang, also complete cars modified to varying degrees of performance. They got improved suspension, more power and their own body kits. The 427R introduced in 2007 was the next step up from the 415hp supercharged Stage 3, the 427R got 435hp out of the 4.6 V8.
