| Description |
English: The Dutch East Indies Volksraadgebouw Arrangement follows more closely to the Westminister Model. Seen from actually having a head speaker and cross-bench facing each other. with each representative seated and facing the other also. Rather than a truly arch-style parliament. Merely this is because the Volksraad is not a typical legislative Parliament, but rather closer to an Advisory Council to the gouverneur-generaal. Being a colonial parliament, it holds very little power as actual Legislative power over the Dutch East Indies is through the hold in the States General, in Den Haag. It too has a Westminster-style election apportionment, which the Dutch east Indies Governtment's Volksraadgebouw is modeled after (albeit without the same powers). Above is the 1924 Dutch East Indies Volksraad election that reflects this Model.
