Italiano: 1913 Fiat Chiribiri English: 1913 Fiat Chiribiri record breaking car, 8-liter 130hp Chiribiri four-cylinder engine (60 tax hp) in a Fiat 50-60 HP (Tipo 5) chassis. Supposedly the first Italian monoposto, also rare for having streamlined bodywork and for the fact that it wasn't scrapped after the record was beat. Did a 160km/h flying kilometer at Monza in 1918. Currently part of the Righetti Collection; here it is displayed at the Bologna Motor Show in December 2016. |
