Name: The identity statue - Yeruham
Description: On a hill where the Yeruham Crossing stood in the 1950s, a park was established with an 18-meter high monument in the center made of two parallel concave concrete pillars painted white - with the scenery of the Negev Mountains in the background, the statue of Ezra Orien. The structure is an enigma subject to interpretation

תיאור: על גבעה בו עמדה מעברת ירוחם בשנות החמישים, הוקם פארק ובמרכזו אנדרטה בגובה 18 מטר העשויה משני עמודי בטון קעורים מקבילים וצבועים לבן- ברקע נופי רמת הנגב, פסלו של עזרא אוריין. המבנה הוא חידה הנתונה לפרשנויות
הערות: ירוחם הוקמה ב-1951 כמעברה ברמת נגב (כ-530 מ.)שתהפוך לימים לעיירת פיתוח, מועצה מקומית מאז 1959, שוכנת כ-30 ק"מ מדרום לבאר שבע, מונה כ-12000 תושבים. אוכלוסייתה מגוונת וכוללת תושבים מצפון אפריקה, מזרח אירופה ואסיה. בשנים האחרונות נמצאת בתנופת פיתוח ונוספו לה שכונות חדשות רבות.
