English: 2004-2005 Chevrolet Blazer ZR2 photographed in New Castle, Pennsylvania. The ZR2 package became available on the second generation (S10) Blazer for the 1997 model year. It included various upgrades to better suit the Blazer for off-roading, such as a stronger rear axle, wider track, increased ride height, and much larger tires. Cosmetically, it featured fender flares and ZR2 decals. Only 2-door Blazers were available with this package, although it could be ordered on both 4-wheel drive-and 2-wheel-drive models. From 1997 to 2003, all Blazer ZR2s were based on the Blazer's LS trim and had LS badges on their B-pillars. However, for 2004, the LS trim was discontinued and its badges were removed from the ZR2.
