Description
English: Biosynthesis of (S)-norcoclaurine from dopamine (4-(2-aminoethyl)benzene-1,2-diol) and 4-hydroxyphenylacetaldehyde with concomitant release of water. This is done by the enzyme (S)-norcoclaurine synthase.
