[1]Harmeet Kahlon (born 15 September 1970) is an Indian professional golfer and golf instructor, renowned for his contributions to the sport. He was honored with the Arjuna Award for his exceptional achievements in golf, including being the only Indian to win the prestigious Nomura Cup Individual (Asia Pacific Amateur). Kahlon has also claimed victories in notable tournaments such as the Singapore Amateur .His legacy as an Asian Tour winner and his significant impact on Indian golf have earned him widespread recognition and respect in the international golfing community.

[1]Harmeet Kahlon’s career is marked by remarkable achievements both as an amateur and professional golfer. A distinguished amateur, he was the only Indian to win the 1997 Nomura Cup (Asia Pacific Amateur), and also claimed victories in the Singapore Amateur. He represented India at the 1994 Hiroshima and [2]1998 Bangkok Asian Games and was ranked India’s No. 1 amateur golfer from 1993 to 1998. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to sport, Harmeet received the Arjuna Award in 1997, along with the Punjab Government Roll of Honour for Gold Medal in Nationals the same year. Kahlon turned professional in 1999, earning Rookie of the Year honors on the Indian professional circuit. His breakthrough victory came in [3]2002 at the Hero Honda Masters on the Asian Tour, and he followed it with several notable performances, including a tied fifth finish at the 2007 Pertamina Indonesia President Invitational and 10th at the Johnnie Walker Cambodian Open.
