EV Zug Women's Team is an ice hockey team in the Women's League. They play in Zug, Canton of Zug, Switzerland at Bossard Arena.
The team is the representative women's team of Eissportverein Zug (lit. 'Ice-sport Club Zug'), better known by its shortname EV Zug or the abbreviation EVZ.
History
[edit]The first representative women's team of EV Zug was established in 1990 as EV Zug Damen (lit. 'EV Zug Ladies'). The team made its debut in the 1990–91 season of the Leistungsklasse B (LK B or LKB; called SWHL B since ), the second-tier national league in Switzerland. By season's end, EVZ Damen had achieved promotion to the Leistungsklasse A (LK A or LKA; called SWHL A during 2014–2019 and Women's League since 2019).

EWHL Euro Cup
[edit]The EWHL Euro Cup is an ice hockey tournament for club teams organized by the European Women's Hockey League (EWHL). It has been contested since 2011.

European Women's Champions Cup
[edit]The European Women's Champions Cup (EWCC) was an annual international tournament for ice hockey club teams, organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). It was contested from 2004 until 2015 and featured the national champion in women's ice hockey from each of the participating nations.
EV Zug participated in two EWCC tournaments, earning a bronze medal in their debut and placing fourth in the following season.
