Alisha J Prince

born 14 August is an English singer, songwriter, poet and visual artist. She is known for her projects within an eclectic range of genres including surrealism, satire and alternative music, acoustic,[2] and vocals that range from childlike whispers to harsh screaming.[1] The London Evening Standard once described her as "a lightening conductor, an alchemist and supernatural director of ectoplasm."[4]

Alisha Jean Prince grew up in south east London. Her family have Irish roots. Her father died of a heart attack when she was seven years old and by the time she was 13 she had been sent to a school for maladjusted children.

Leaving school at 15 Alisha worked in a bridal shop but was asked instead to model the vintage wedding dresses which led to several bookings as a model.

Alisha had begun writing whilst at school and eventually won a competition with Spread the Word.

Most known fir her debut novel Digital Scum, Alisha has gone on to write several novels including Gristle to the Mill, Black Cockerel, Severed Arm and The Devil Went Down to George at Asda.
