- Comment: I highly recommend you check out Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Sources.Prog Archives, Rate Your Music, and Spirit of Music are unreliable sources. Ca talk to me! 11:01, 5 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: MetalMusicArchive is a generally unreliable source since anyone can upload a review there. The reviewer is an obscure individual and I could not find out much about them. Same goes for Discogs. Please remove those sources and find reliable ones. Thanks, Ca talk to me! 15:38, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

Aching Beauty is a French progressive metal band formed in 1997 and disbanded after 10 years in 2007.
History
[edit]The band was formed in 1997 by Vincent Rémon, Fabien Labonde and Antoine de Mieulle. They built their reputation by playing a progressive metal music with a technical style sparsely covered at that time in France.
In 2001, the band found its definitive lineup with Aldric de Montfort and Julien Guillemet joining the band, with whom they quickly released their first EP: One More Step. They went on to perform a series of concerts (La Locomotive, La Maroquinerie, Le New Morning) where they asserted their style, before entering the studio to record their first album: L'Ultima Ora was released in November 2004 on the Brennus Music / Musea label. The album was warmly received by the music press.[1][2][3]
Their first single Pairsonality was released on the compilation Into a Heavy Circle compiled by Le Cercle Métal[4].
In 2006, the band took a musical turn, minimizing their progressive metal influences for a more power rock style and switching their lyrics to French. This new direction was released with a new single: Virtuelle Amnésie, which appeared on the Underground Rising compilation by Cheapnoiz Records.
Eventually, this new musical direction failed to materialize, and Aching Beauty ceased operations in 2007.
In 2018, Vincent Rémon and Fabien Labonde founded a new band : 101010, with Benoît Blin (Devianz, Monolithe)[5], in an Electro / Indus / Synthwave genre.
In 2023, Aching Beauty temporarily reformed with its historic members to completely re-record the track Pendulum, which had never been officially released on digital platforms[6]. The track is rearranged and reinterpreted with guests Benoît Blin (Monolithe, Devianz, 101010), Gregory Erb (The Holiday Armadillo) and Dan Tordjman.
