[edit]How about the claims of Sviatopolk-Mirskiies? abakharev 13:40, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
- They started to add Svyatopolk- to their proper name Mirsky, a la Swiatopelk-Czetwertinski, quite late in history. The family is certainly not of Rurikid stock, although their self-proclaimed princely title was authorized by Alexander II for political reasons. --Ghirlandajo 15:41, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
- That makes sense. It probably needs to be put on the Category page, that only the family with proven by documents Rurukid ancestory need to bother? Otherwise we are bound to have an edit war with some enthusiast at some stage in the futureabakharev 13:07, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
Interwiki problem
[edit]Can the Category:Rurikids include subcategory Category:Rulers of Kievan Rus etc? Otherwise the interwiki with ru:Категория:Рюриковичи and uk:Категорія:Рюриковичі becomes extremly tricky abakharev 13:03, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
