Bhagwal Urdu pronunciation: [bhɑːgˌwɑːl] (Punjabi, Urdu: بھگوال), is a village and Union Council of Kharian Tehsil, Gujrat District, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Bhagwal is approximately 131 kilometres (81 mi) from the national capital Islamabad.[3][4]

Geography

Bhagwal[5] is located at latitude [6] 32.8214 and longitude 73.9554 with altitude of 282 meters[7] Kharian-Sambrial[8] motorway (still under construction) passes close to Bhagwal village. End point M12 Motorway is south to Dham & east to Bhagwal, and a link road from this point is connecting at Al Mudassar Chowk commonly known as (Bismillah more or chowk).

It has 6 mosques Main makrazi jamia masjid Gulzar e Madina[9] situated in the centre of village Nearby villages[10] are Guliana, Golra Hashim, Kotla Haji Shah, Jhantla, Shorian, Dham Dhal Gujjar Lammay Chak Bakhtawar and Jand Sharif.

The village falls under the revenue limits of Kanungoi Circle Kharian and Patwar Circle Bhagwal [11] a Kanungoi Circle is headed by a Kanungo (also Qanungo[12][13]) and a Patwar Circle is headed by a Patwari, (Punjabi,Urdu: پٹواری)

Village Bhagwal[14] is also a hub of education, as it has four government and two private schools, which cater to the needs of the students from the village and the surrounding areas. The schools offer quality education in various subjects, such as Urdu, English, mathematics, science, and social studies. The schools also organize various co-curricular and extracurricular activities, such as sports, debates, quizzes, and cultural programs. village has produced many eminent scholars, teachers, doctors, Army officers, engineers, lawyers, and other professionals, who have contributed to the development of the country and around the world.

According to the 2017 Pakistani census, 96.50% of the population spoke Punjabi This is the main language of Bhagwal ( بھگوال) Village. Urdu, the national language, is spoken widely while English spoken by educated elite.

Most peoples from Bhagwal have agriculture businesses here which are the backbone of the economy.

The village also has a strong sense of community and social welfare, as evidenced by the establishment of Non profit organisation. for village social and basic health issue overseas Pakistani Came forwarded and launched a social welfare Society in 2016 Name Al Khidmat Bhagwal(الخدمت بھگوال [19]) in Bhagwal, The organisation providing basic health services and clean water project in the village and Surrounding areas. Under this registered organisation Al khidmat Clinic and Ambulance service free for needy people working on Main st 4 near Baba Muhammad Hussain chowk, so far many water filtration plants project installation completed inside and surrounding villages, its all possible due to Generous donations of Bhagwal diaspora in the world and around Pakistan supports the organisation financially.[20][21][22][23][24]
