During the 1960–61 English football season, Queens Park Rangers (QPR) competed in the Third Division. Despite being in the second promotion position in early April (having leapfrogged eventual 2nd place and promoted Walsall), QRP finished in third place.[1]

In the season, QPR reverted back to blue and white hooped shirts. In December at the start of a 11 game unbeaten run QPR's biggest wins recorded a 9-2 victory vs Tranmere Rovers. Winger Clive Clark moved to first division West Bromwich Albion for a fee of £17,000 in January 1961.[citation needed]
