A tag has been placed on Newa Atheism requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Speedy deletion nomination of 2056 B.S.

Hello KrozanDarshan,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged 2056 B.S. for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, GailTheOx (talk) 14:47, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

December 2012

Hello, I'm Binksternet. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Atheism, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 15:35, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do not create, add, or restore hoaxes to Wikipedia, such as you did with the article 2056 B.S.. Hoaxes are caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. A tag has been placed on File:Sankhamul Bridge.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

added links pointing to Lalitpur and DEO

Hello, KrozanDarshan. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Newa games, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Mabalu (talk) 07:26, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thank you for your message on my talk page. When I looked up Newa games, I couldn't find a single reference to them anywhere, and nothing in Google Books, apart from a single reference which also mentioned Dhun Kasa, which is mentioned in only a few other places. This is a very real problem as Wikipedia articles need to be supported by references to reliable sources and if there are none out there, it fails notability. I did see that Dhun Kasa apparently translates as "tiger game" - is it the same as Tiger game? If so, there is already an article on it. Mabalu (talk) 14:38, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Also, when you are leaving a message on another user's talk page, please leave it at the bottom of the page rather than the top, as you did, unless the user specifically requests otherwise. :) Mabalu (talk) 14:40, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Atheist Solidarity Day until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Mercurywoodrose (talk) 07:38, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I nominated this article for deletion, based on its not having adequate references that show its a notable event. You were the initial creator of this article, but if you read the terms with each edit you have made, you will realize that you have irrevocably released your contribution under a special license that means you do not own the content you originally posted. you have no rights regarding this or any other article. The original content you posted was possibly a direct copy from another website which had itself NOT published it under a free license, thus could not be used here exactly as written. You have created a number of articles without proper references. I strongly recommend that you read up on basic policy at Wikipedia, particularly Terms of Use, WP:Notability, WP:Copyright, WP:Original Research, WP:References, and read some article stubs in your areas of interest, to get a feel for how new articles are initially put together. I also strongly recommend that you REFRAIN FROM EDITING for a little bit (maybe a month?). i have absolutely no authority to block you, and dont want that authority, but your edit history as it stands could easily lead to you being blocked or banned, temporarily or even permanently, by a concerned administrator. We need new, young editors (i presume you are young, as your school identification is with a secondary school, not yet a college or university), but we need them to understand policy before editing. your edits dont have to be perfect, they just have to avoid obvious, clear problems that are spelled out in detail in WP policies. i myself didnt edit much at all for at least a year after i made one very simple, uncontroversial edit of a link i knew to be absolutely incorrect. i didnt have to source that edit, but if i had ADDED a link, i would have had to make sure the linked articles were adequately referenced to show my edit was legit. Please, show us that we can WP:Assume Good Faith in your intentions editing here. good luck. PS i have absolutely no axe to grind with atheism myself.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 03:53, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I havent looked into whether your original article was a copyright violation. if, however, you did copy the text from anywhere, unaltered, that is a copyright violation. someone may have found text remarkably similar and thus removed it from here. you can rewrite information to make it not a copyright violation, if you are simply reporting facts distilled from a source. its not that hard. just ask yourself: would the original writer see in your rewrite a text which puts at risk their ability to sell their version to others? if ours is enough like theirs, it puts their commercial rights at risk, or even their right to promote a noncommercial website. Again, i don know if you did do this, and dont assume that you did anything intentionally. just read up.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 04:18, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
