Control copyright icon Hello Trisha1983, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Draft:Zaid Darbar have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. MER-C 18:32, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Zaid Darbar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.  Majavah talk · edits 12:10, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Trisha1983. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.  Majavah talk · edits 12:19, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Majavah i will remove the informations which i ahd copied from other site but you can not delete the page because this is my family member or not my relative, i am just new to wikipedia so searching the pages which are not in wikipedia, if articles are available then i will edit that article if not then i am trying to make new one. Deleted articles

I've deleted both the tagged article at Zaid Darbar and your other work at Krutika Desai. Both of these were written like gushing, promotional fan pages and are not acceptable - there were just too many problems to address. In the future, it may be helpful to create your articles in the WP:DRAFT space and leave them there until someone from the WP:AFC team reviews them. You also seem to be running into frequent problems with copyrights - do not copy material from other sources. This will lead to this account being disabled very quickly. Additionally, please focus on high-quality, reliable sources. There were many junk links that pointed to scrapers, mirrors, search results and other low quality sites. Kuru (talk) 13:56, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Kuru if i will make Krutika Desai Article again with proper and good manner the it will be accepeted??— Preceding unsigned comment added by Trisha1983 (talkcontribs)
I don't know. Please keep it in your sandbox or in the WP:DRAFT namespace until you get a good feel for how to write and source material without it seeming like promotion. Very high quality sourcing is critical. Kuru (talk) 17:41, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Trisha, I deleted the speedy deletion notice. It still needs some copyediting, though and better references. I would like to improve this article in return for your help on the hi.wikipedia.org . I am looking for someone to translate some of the en:Door County, Wisconsin article on Wikipedia. The audience includes: Hindi speaking residents in the United States who might visit as tourists and students in India who might like to work there in the summer on a J-1 visa. Are you willing to start a new hi.wikipedia article?--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 19:49, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Another editor removed some of my sources and then deleted the article on his or her own anyway. I'm not sure if you are interested in pursuing this or not. There are ways to contest it.--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 20:00, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Epiphyllumlover Yes i am interestedTrisha 04:59, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I am sorry... I did not see your article until now. And it looks like they have deleted your account. You can't even respond to me I think. Maybe you can leave me a message at hi:सदस्य_वार्ता:Epiphyllumlover to get around the block. I will immediately request the English wikipedia to undelete Krutika Desai as a userspace draft for me to work at.--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 20:28, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Epiphyllumlover: This account is globally locked across all Wikimedia projects for long-term abuse of multiple accounts. You shouldn't be making any edits on their behalf.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:32, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't know that. That is a pity. Maybe if she asks nicely the hi.wikipedia will unblock just her.--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 20:36, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Did you see the note at the bottom? She says she is not a sockpuppet of Arishfakhan61. Maybe she just frequents the same internet cafe as Arishfakhan61.--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 20:39, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No, they've created the same articles they've created with previous socks. This is a long-term abusive editor; there is not much chance of an unblock. I've looked at the sources you added to the now-deleted article. You confused the subject with another actress with a similar name (Krutika Desai Khan). Adding the blurb "Her career as of 2020 has spanned 30 years" to the page of a 27-year-old actress highlights the problem. Kuru (talk) 22:12, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I was confused. Glad you pointed that out.--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 22:33, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Problem with your custom signature

You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
  4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

More information about custom signatures is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. Thank you. 18:03, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
