Hi there!
I registered on 17 May 2006 but I have been working for the German Wikipedia for more than a year before. I was born in Leipzig, the second largest city of the former GDR (German Demolished Republic), better known as East Germany or the "workers' and peasants' power", to which I owe my nickname: "Young Pionieers" was the name of the socialist youth organisation in that country. My mother tongue is (surprisingly) German although my exceedingly elegant accent betrays me as an inhabitant of Saxony, a country that has made great contributions to human civilisation, most importantly the coffee filter. Unfortunately, I prefer tea.
