...introduced the assegai... in conflict with the Shaka page which says he introduced a different weapon.

Bad title

This page should be titled Zulu-Nwande War, not Zulu civil war, ass this last almost almost always refers to the wars between different factions within Zululand in the 1880s, arising out the British imposed settlement after the war of 1879 Jdorney 20:01, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Wizzy 20:45, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Iklwa not assegai

I believe King Chaka introduced the stabbing spear called the iklwa (named after the sound it made when pulled from the body of a victim) and not the assegai. The light throwing javelin was reportedly detested by Chaka, plus the assegai had been around long before Chaka or even the zulu clan. I won't edit this myself, as I haven't procured any sources at the moment, but I strongly suggest fixing this article. HOLLA Scott Free 22:55, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WPMILHIST Assessment

Sources/references would be nice. Also, if you don't have data for troop numbers or casualties, you can leave those elements blank, and the rows won't appear on the infobox at all. It's not a rule, but a generally followed guideline, I think. LordAmeth 21:59, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
